In-the-Ear Hearing Aids

In-the-Ear hearing aids are uniquely molded to perfectly fit your ear. There are three main styles that vary in size depending on whether a cosmetic or easily manageable solution is more important to you.

In-the-Ear (ITE)

This easy-to-operate device is housed in a custom-made shell that fits comfortably inside the ear, delivering sound directly to the ear. The In-the-Ear mould fills most of the visible portion of the ear. This is the largest of the In-the-Ear options and is easy to manage because of the size and user-friendly controls.

In-the-Canal (ITC)

The In-the-Canal is smaller than the In-the-Ear hearing aids and is partially visible in the outer ear. These devices are a good balance between a cosmetically appealing but manageable hearing aid and are suitable for mild to severe losses.

Completely-in-Canal (CIC)

Completely-in-Canal hearing aids are custom-fit devices that fit all the way in the ear canal. They are rarely visible and are therefore the most cosmetically appealing of the In-the-Ear options. Some hearing aid wearers with narrow ear canals may not be candidates for CICs. These tiny instruments are most suitable for mild to moderate losses.

This is how the in-the-ear hearing aids will appear during everyday use:
