From 2016 to 2019, the team from Bay Audiology visited Samoa for our Free to Hear Programme. After a hiatus due to COVID-19, we were pleased to return in 2023 to support the people of Samoa with their hearing health. Due to Samoa having limited access to hearing health care, we developed this initiative to help the community in Apia and surrounds rediscover the joy of hearing.
With the help of local organisations, our team has been able to provide free hearing checks, ear wax removals and fit donated hearing aids during their visits.
ReSound and Oticon generously supplied hearing aid devices to support this initiative. Without their support, our work in Samoa wouldn’t be possible.
