After struggling with hearing loss for a number of years, Herbert’s doctor suggested to see an audiologist, so he went to Bay Audiology.
Herbert’s life changed when he was fitted with discreet hearing aids.
“When they were fitted I went home, I was sitting in front of the telly and my wife loves singing but I had never heard it before.”
Having hearing aids, really improved Herbert’s relationship with his wife and other family members.
“I’ve got quite a big family, five kids and 16 grandchildren and four great grandchildren and not being able to communicate with them when they speak to me made me feel very sad. When they all come to visit, especially when we have special occasions, now it’s my turn to say, “Aye, don’t be so loud!”, because all of a sudden I could hear clearly.”
The ongoing support from the team at Herbert’s local Bay Audiology clinic made him feel valued; “They became like family. They truly treated me with dignity.”
Now, Hebert encourages others not to hesitate in seeking help. “The moment your hearing is not good, go to Bay Audiology. I would strongly recommend to anyone that Bay Audiology is the company to go to.”
