Receiver-in-canal (RIC)

Small and unnoticeable

Receiver-in-canal (RIC) hearing aids are small and discreet, made up of housing that sits behind the ear with the microphones and amplifier, connected via a small, nearly invisible wire to the receiver inside the canal. They are lightweight and comfortable, giving you a more natural hearing experience and better sound quality. These hearing aids come with a dome or a custom ear mould to fit comfortably within the ear canal, making them suitable for people with a wide range of hearing loss.

Small and discreet

Discreet and barely visible

RIC hearing aids are typically small and discreet because the speaker is placed inside the ear instead of in the casing behind the ear. This means the portion behind the ear is smaller in comparison to other styles. RIC styles come with a thin and translucent wire that connects the speaker to the hearing aid casing, which is nearly invisible.
