AfterCare Plus Terms and Conditions

  • The AfterCare Plus service offering is available in conjunction with selected hearing aid purchases at Bay Audiology.
  • Hearing aids from the Starter technology range at Bay Audiology (including the Free to Hear Program) are excluded from receiving the AfterCare Plus service offering.
  • Introductory cleaning kit and consumable pack is free of charge and includes cleaning wipes, brush, drying container with capsules and spare domes and wax filters (if applicable).
  • Free clean and checks are available without an appointment for 6-years from the date of hearing aid purchase. If consumables are required there will be no charge for these items during the clean and check. Consumables include onsite tubing, dome and wax filter change.
  • Free hearing aid adjustment appointments for 6-years with a clinician are available if needed. Bay Audiology reserves the right to determine if a free hearing aid adjustment appointment is appropriate after the client first visits the clinic for hearing aid support. Appointments will be booked as required by the clinic. Ear suction appointments and other specialised appointments are excluded from the hearing aid adjustment appointment offering.
  • The battery club discount means that for every 7th pack of batteries purchased, the 8th pack will be provided free of charge if the battery club card is shown in clinic. Offer is available in clinic only.
  • Hearing aids may be exchanged for other products (of the same or lesser value), or may be returned for a refund, within 90 days of purchase. Bay Audiology reserves the right to refuse to exchange or refund hearing aids where the hearing aid (including its parts) have not been returned or have been damaged or lost. Any refund paid will be the amount paid by the client only, which will not include any discounts or funders’ contributions.
  • The three-year manufacturer’s warranty is on Bay Audiology selected key partner manufacturer brands. If you have a device from a different manufacturer then this term could be shorter. Standard manufacturers’ warranty conditions apply.
  • AfterCare Plus service offering is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
  • The AfterCare Plus service offering does not affect your rights existing under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
